"Mere Phantoms" by Maya Ersan & Jaimie Robson

"Mere Phantoms"

Mere Phantoms is a new level of the idea 'shadow', based in Montreal, Canada. It is creating site-specific installations & performances by combining paper cut-outs, drawings, videos and animations. Mere Phantoms is inspired from shadow puppetry, but instead of hiding the puppets, they are put in the center to create dynamic outcomes with multiple handheld lights. Also as a difference from shadow puppetry, Mere Phantoms interacts with the audience by inviting them to participate.
